The fees are determined by the length of the internship or training and include:
- > Finding a suitable employer in the United States.
- > Obtaining a DS-2019 form (J-1 visa).
- > Providing interview preparation.
- > Medical insurance for the whole duration of the program
- > Administrative costs associated with the visa processing
- > Orientation and other pre-departure advisory services
- > Assistance for housing arrangement
- > Advice for tax reimbursement
- > Emergency assistance
Terms and conditions:
Astrono Overseas facilitates cultural exchange programs in the United States. Participants engaging in these programs must adhere to the following terms and conditions:
● Embassy and SEVIS Fees: The costs associated with Embassy and SEVIS fees for participating in the cultural exchange program in the United States are not covered by Astrono Overseas and are the responsibility of the participant.
● Program Fee Payment: Upon signing a Training or Internship Placement Offer Letter with a host employer for a specific candidate, the candidate is considered placed. The full program fee is due within 7 business days from the date of signing.
● Withdrawal Before DS-2019 Issuance: If the candidate decides to withdraw from the program after the employer has signed the job offer but before the issuance of the DS-2019, the candidate will receive a specified amount of money according to the terms and policies of Astrono Overseas that were signed by the candidate.
● Visa Denial: In the event of a visa denial after the second interview at the US Embassy, the candidate must submit provided proof of denial letter from the American Embassy or Consulate. In this case, sum amount of placement fee will be withheld to cover the processing costs of Astrono Overseas. Administrative fees, shipping fees, and bank fees are non-refundable.
● Cancellation After Arrival or Termination by Host Employer: If a candidate decides to cancel their program after arriving in the U.S. or is laid off or terminated by the host employer, no refund will be granted
● Program Length and Host Company Agreement: The duration of the program agreed upon by the host company and the candidate is contingent on the candidate's performance and suitability for the role. The host company is not obligated to maintain the candidate for the full term if the candidate fails to meet the property’s requirements. In the event of layoffs or closure of the host company, our host sponsor agency will assist the candidate in finding an alternate host property.
● By engaging in our cultural exchange programs, participants acknowledge and agree to adhere to these terms and conditions outlined by Astrono Overseas.
